Tendances 2011
Le fameux bookzine français Courrier International a récemment publié un nouveau numéro Hors-série fort intéressant : Slow ou fast? 100 tendances pour 2011. Publié en format carré (23 cm x 23 cm), avec couverture glacée semi-rigide, ce nouveau numéro est très agréable à consulter. La mise en page est bien aérée et le graphisme plutôt dynamique et moderne. Et, une source d’informations qu’aucun agrégateur de contenus n’a pu m’offrir jusqu’à présent… Pour le prix, je considère ça une aubaine.
Les tendances les plus importantes, relevées par l’équipe éditoriale du magazine, proviennent pour la plupart de traductions d’articles repêchés à travers la presse internationale, alors qu’on s’est contenté d’un court extrait pour celles jugées moins importantes. Évidemment, les principales tendances observées relèvent des médias sociaux, d’Internet et de la culture numérique, mais touchent autant à la société qu’à la mode, au design et… à la cuisine.
Je dois l’avouer, j’ai éprouvé un malin plaisir à décortiquer ce numéro spécial du Courrier International. Et, sans vouloir jouer moi-même au prophète, je me suis amusé à remanier l’ordre proposé en établissant des liens avec d’autres tendances annoncées. Pour finalement aboutir avec cinq nouvelles listes que je vous proposerai au cours des prochains jours. Dans certains cas, il s’agit des tendances lourdes qui s’annonçaient déjà depuis un bon moment, dans d’autres de mouvements qui s’avèrent d’avance aussi éphémères que le temps… Je les ai regroupées en cinq thématiques pour lesquelles j’ai établi un Top 10, qui n’en est pas un, et auquel j’ai rajouté parfois deux ou trois mouvances plutôt spéciales, parfois loufoques ou carrément futiles, toujours telles qu’observées par l’équipe du Courrier International.

5 – Tendances trendy
Comme il fallait le prévoir, la culture numérique, les médias sociaux et le web collaboratif (2.0) figurent parmi les principales tendances dont il faudra tenir compte au cours des prochains mois. Identité numérique et égocasting, web-télé et magazines 3D, sécurité et formation, entrepreneuriat et nouveau management, développement durable et énergies renouvelables seront autant de mots-clé qui continueront de retenir l’attention au cours de la prochaine année. En fait, il n’y a rien de vraiment nouveau dans tout ça, sinon que ça se manifeste de manière toujours plus évidente… Toutefois, selon le Courrier Internationale, tout va se jouer à deux vitesses : Slow ou fast?, avec une pause entre les deux. À l’ère numérique, il n’y a plus qu’une constance : l’évolution accélérée…

Un numéro spécial de Courrier International à se procurer, pour moins de 8 $, et à consulter tout au long de l’année. Ne serait-ce que pour trouver 100 bons sujets de nouveaux tweets les jours creux… Au cours des prochains jours, je vous présenterai mon propre bookzine, avec mes cinq listes dressées à partir des 100 tendances relevées par le magazine français. Évidemment, dans mon casting personnel, je place en tête de liste les tendances qui se rapportent aux médias sociaux, au Web 2.0, à la culture numérique et aux nouveaux enjeux de la société. Toutefois, lorsqu’on décide de jouer le jeu des tendances, il faut aussi savoir le faire avec un grain de sel et un peu d’humour.
Évidemment, parmi tout ça, il y en a à prendre et à laisser. Cependant, plusieurs tendances lourdes se réitèrent d’année en année, et méritent du coup qu’on s’y penche plus sérieusement. À vous de faire votre propre sélection.
